Client Relations

  • I commit to maintaining clear, respectful, and professional relations with clients, respecting cultural differences and setting boundaries within coaching relationships.
  • I will not engage in any sexual relationships with clients.
  • I commit to informing clients of all collaboration terms and to working according to the agreed arrangements.
  • Before starting coaching or during introductory sessions, I ensure the client understands coaching, confidentiality, financial terms, and other collaboration conditions.
  • I commit not to provide misleading information about expected coaching results or my direct work as a coach.
  • I commit not to give clients advice that could be misinterpreted.
  • Information obtained during coaching will not be used for personal, financial, or other gain.
  • I respect the client’s right to terminate coaching at any time and watch for signs that the client is no longer benefiting from the collaboration.
  • If I consider another specialist more suitable, I will provide an appropriate recommendation.
  • If the client expresses intent to harm others, I take all possible steps to inform the responsible authorities.

Confidentiality and Client Privacy

  • I respect the client’s right to privacy regarding all information obtained during coaching, except where legally required.
  • I commit to obtaining client consent before publicly using their name, giving recommendations, or sharing information with third parties.
  • If a commercial or other offer is received, I first obtain client approval before sharing personal data with third parties.

Conflict of Interest

  • I avoid possible conflicts of interest between myself and clients.
  • If a conflict arises, I act in the client’s best interest.
  • I inform the client of any benefits received from third parties resulting from client recommendations.

Coach’s Pledge

  • As a professional coach, I solemnly commit to fulfilling my responsibilities to clients, colleagues, and society.
  • I promise to follow this Code of Ethics, respect all people as independent and equal individuals, and consistently apply these principles in my work with clients.
